As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging development and operations, ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure optimization, and robust system monitoring. Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and high availability.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to streamline provisioning and configuration.
- Ensure system security by enforcing best practices, conducting vulnerability assessments, and managing IAM policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, reliability, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical incidents and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
