Responsibility
- Lead the development and maintenance of the core banking system, focusing on the Payments & Credit Module.
- Design and implement scalable and secure banking solutions to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for financial systems.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize system downtime.
- Optimize existing systems for improved efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the fintech industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on core banking systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in a VP or senior leadership role is a plus.
