As a Senior Design Engineer, you will collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality precast concrete elements that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Responsibility
- Develop and review structural and architectural designs for precast concrete elements, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, durability, and ease of manufacturing and installation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and production teams, to align design intent with project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new precast concrete applications.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using CAD and BIM software.
- Oversee prototyping and testing of precast components to validate structural performance.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in precast concrete construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, with at least 3 years specializing in precast concrete.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (ETabs, SAP2000, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of international building codes (e.g., ACI, Eurocode) and Indonesian construction regulations.
- Proven track record of delivering complex precast concrete projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
