Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of structural, civil, and architectural plans for large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocodes).
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate technical feasibility with creative and functional design solutions.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses to optimize project viability and resource allocation.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360) and simulation tools to create precise 2D/3D models and renderings.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ) for tender submissions and client presentations.
- Perform structural calculations and stress analysis to ensure safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness of designs.
- Monitor project progress, address design-related challenges, and implement iterative improvements based on field feedback.
- Mentor junior engineers and draftsmen, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, PEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering, with a proven track record in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar design software; BIM expertise is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and composite structures, as well as geotechnical and seismic design principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices (e.g., LEED, Green Building standards) and modular construction techniques.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-growing market.
