Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of hardware and software systems to identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and reliability issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex technical failures and propose effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and QA teams to refine product designs and manufacturing processes based on debugging insights.
- Develop and implement automated testing scripts and tools to streamline troubleshooting and improve efficiency.
- Document technical issues, debugging procedures, and solutions in detailed reports for internal knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams on debugging best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging debugging tools, methodologies, and industry standards to enhance team capabilities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align debugging efforts with project timelines and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in debugging, testing, or troubleshooting hardware/software systems in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Proficient in using debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, Wireshark, or custom scripts).
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, PCB design, or firmware development is highly desirable.
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) frameworks (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
