Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical failures in IoT test equipment and production systems to maximize yield and efficiency.
- Validate and calibrate test systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify root causes of test failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and optimize test equipment, including firmware updates, hardware repairs, and performance tuning.
- Develop and document debug procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting guides for internal teams.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide technical support to production teams during critical manufacturing phases or escalations.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies, debug tools, and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in debug engineering, test engineering, or a similar role in IoT/embedded systems manufacturing.
- Proficiency in debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers) and test automation software.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interactions, PCB design, and embedded systems.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for test automation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN) and wireless communication standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for collaboration with global teams.
