Responsibility
- Data Strategy Leadership: Define and execute a data-driven roadmap aligned with KooBits’ business objectives, ensuring scalability and innovation in our EdTech products.
- Product Analytics: Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track performance, user behavior, and learning outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and pedagogy teams to integrate data insights into product development and feature prioritization.
- Data Pipeline Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, from collection to visualization, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and real-time accessibility.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and analyze experiments to validate hypotheses, improve user retention, and enhance personalized learning experiences.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executives, educators, and technical teams.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure data privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, COPPA) are upheld across all products and processes.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor EdTech trends, benchmark against competitors, and identify opportunities for data-driven differentiation.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 5+ years in data product management, analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or a data-heavy industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Product Mindset: Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and user-centered design principles.
- Analytical Excellence: Ability to derive insights from large datasets and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences.
- EdTech Passion: Deep interest in education technology and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through data.
- Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring teams, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across departments.
- Remote Collaboration: Comfortable working in a distributed team environment with asynchronous communication tools (e.g., Slack, Notion, Jira).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
