Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend for data integration, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine data requirements for business intelligence and reporting.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud or on-premise environments.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all systems and databases.
- Automate data processes to reduce manual efforts and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Document data models, workflows, and technical specifications for stakeholder reference.
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering trends, tools, and best practices (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, or AWS/GCP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in Talend Open Studio or Talend Data Integration.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java for data manipulation and scripting.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and data lakes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data validation.
- Ability to work independently and in Agile/Scrum teams, with strong communication skills in English.
