Responsibility
- Manage and maintain large-scale server and GPU infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor data centre operations, including hardware, networking, and cooling systems, to prevent downtime.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard data centre assets and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Optimize data centre resources to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Document operational procedures, incident reports, and maintenance logs for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data centre management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data centre operations, server management, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, GPU clusters, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with data centre monitoring tools and automation scripts (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Python).
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in data centre management (e.g., CDCP, ITIL) are a plus.
