Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Manage server and network capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and prevent downtime.
- Design and implement client-specific configurations and technical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on data center hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to deploy new technologies and enhance infrastructure resilience.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for data center security, cooling, and power management.
- Provide on-call support for critical issues and participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Center Technician, IT Infrastructure Specialist, or similar role.
- Proven expertise in server hardware, networking (Cisco, Juniper), storage systems, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of data center operations, cooling systems, power distribution, and cabling standards.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) and capacity planning.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English.
