Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of data center facilities, ensuring 99.99% uptime.
- Monitor and manage critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, cooling, UPS, and backup generators.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement and maintain physical security protocols and access controls.
- Lead energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact, aligning with sustainability goals.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracting, performance reviews, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency response plans, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to ensure team competence and growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data center operations, facility management, or critical infrastructure (for senior roles).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, UPS systems, and fire suppression technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier Standards) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
