Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical failures using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and restore operations swiftly.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules and checklists to comply with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct equipment inspections and recommend upgrades or replacements to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, PLC systems, or automated production equipment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems as they relate to mechanical components.
- Certification in predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, or reliability engineering is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
