Responsibility
- Lead real-time threat monitoring and analysis to detect and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Develop and implement incident response plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and internal security policies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure network architectures and solutions.
- Provide security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity.
- Oversee security audits and generate reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching cybersecurity trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT) and compliance requirements.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
