Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end customer service operations for CIF shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of export documentation.
  • Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for international freight services, aligning with market trends and company margins.
  • Liaise with clients, shipping lines, and internal teams to resolve inquiries, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Prepare and present quotations, contracts, and service agreements for clients, ensuring clarity and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to upsell logistics solutions and convert customer service interactions into business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, pricing adjustments, and client communications using ERP or logistics software.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on pricing methodologies, customer service best practices, and export procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, pricing, or sales within the logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping industry.
  • Proven track record in CIF shipment handling, export documentation, and international trade compliance.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
  • Familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for pricing models).
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ambition to transition into a sales role.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
