Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for modular construction and container projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project feasibility and recommend optimal solutions.
- Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying variances to mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate vendor contracts, source cost-effective materials, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality, leveraging lean methodologies and value engineering.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting cost trends, savings, and ROI projections.
- Support bid preparation by providing competitive pricing models and risk assessments for new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and regulatory changes affecting project profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s or professional certification (e.g., CMA, PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost engineering, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or modular solutions.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, or Excel-based models) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
