Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead and mentor a team of cost accountants and analysts in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and financial statements.
- Conduct in-depth cost variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management for cost optimization.
- Oversee the standard costing process, including material, labor, and overhead allocations, and ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Procurement) to streamline supply chain costs and improve inventory turnover.
- Perform performance evaluations for staff, setting KPIs and providing coaching to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal audit requirements through rigorous financial controls and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in cost accounting processes and proposing scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in inventory management, standard costing, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring staff.
- Familiarity with manufacturing cost structures and supply chain finance is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
