Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for industrial automation systems using platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.
- Configure and optimize SCADA/HMI systems to monitor and control manufacturing processes in real-time.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate control systems with machinery and IoT devices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, user manuals, and system specifications.
- Provide on-site support for commissioning, maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities for process automation improvements and propose cost-effective, scalable solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in industrial automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering, PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text), and SCADA development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, or CODESYS.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and motion control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in Bali (e.g., Canggu, Ubud, Jimbaran) as required.
