Responsibility
- Lead the planning and execution of MRT tunnel construction projects from initial design to final completion
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and government agencies to ensure project milestones are met
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain construction standards
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for tunnel construction
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure cost-effective delivery
- Implement innovative construction methods and technologies to improve efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering with at least 2 years in tunnel construction
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of MRT tunnel construction methods and international standards
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and construction management software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
