Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for healthcare systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, product managers, and designers to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Optimize existing systems for speed, security, and usability to enhance patient and provider experiences.
- Implement and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services to support healthcare data interoperability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software meets industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in healthcare IT and software development.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Masterâs degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on healthcare IT or similar regulated industries.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
