Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily operations of senior day care programs, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for seniors, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and community partners to deliver holistic care services.
- Organize engaging activities and programs to promote mental and physical well-being among seniors.
- Monitor and document the progress and health status of participants, maintaining accurate records.
- Train and mentor junior staff and volunteers, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between seniors, their families, and the care team to address concerns and provide updates.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in elderly care, community health, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Knowledge of elderly care best practices, health regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
