Responsibility
- Develop and implement integrated communication strategies that align with Roche's business objectives and enhance corporate reputation across Asia Pacific
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on public affairs issues, regulatory developments, and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to amplify Roche's voice in key markets, including media relations, digital communications, and thought leadership
- Manage relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and key opinion leaders to advance Roche's policy and advocacy goals
- Oversee crisis communications and issues management, ensuring timely and effective responses to emerging challenges
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all communications channels
- Monitor and analyze public sentiment, media coverage, and policy trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and excellence in communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic capacity
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of public policy, regulatory environments, and government relations in Asia Pacific
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other regional languages is a plus
- Experience managing media relations, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement in complex, multicultural environments
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration
- Crisis communications experience and ability to navigate high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism
