Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support enterprise applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to streamline software delivery and deployment.
- Monitor cloud performance, security, and cost efficiency using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud resources and ensure high availability (99.9%+ uptime).
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, including IAM, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related incidents, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to drive innovation and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation frameworks.
- Certifications in AWS (Solutions Architect, DevOps), Azure (AZ-303/304), or Google Cloud (Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments (VPNs, firewalls, zero-trust models).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team.
