Responsibility
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures tailored to client needs, leveraging best practices in AWS, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud.
- Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition from on-premise to cloud or multi-cloud environments.
- Develop and implement automation scripts (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to streamline deployments.
- Optimize cloud performance, monitoring, and cost management through tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders on cloud adoption strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans for cloud environments.
- Stay ahead of emerging cloud trends (e.g., serverless, edge computing) and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system resilience.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Alibaba Cloud Certified) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong portfolio of cloud projects in enterprise or reseller environments.
- Deep expertise in multi-cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Alibaba) and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication skills to liaise with global teams and clients.
