Responsibility
- Develop and review technical proposals, quotations, and specifications for civil/structural projects
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored structural solutions
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using industry-standard software
- Conduct site visits and structural assessments to ensure compliance with design standards
- Coordinate with internal teams (architects, MEP engineers) to integrate structural requirements
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen
- Stay updated with local building codes and international structural engineering standards
- Participate in project meetings and present technical solutions to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD/Revit
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design principles
- Experience with seismic design and tropical climate considerations
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- PE or equivalent professional certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
