Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of civil and structural projects, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and local building regulations.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations for structural elements, including foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports in collaboration with draftspersons and architects.
- Coordinate with local authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure design integrity and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftspersons.
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers to resolve design-related challenges during construction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards (BS), and Indonesian building codes (SNI).
- Experience with authority submissions and permit applications in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
