Responsibility
- Conduct detailed civil and structural analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD Civil 3D) to ensure design integrity and compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Lead the design development of foundations, beams, columns, and load-bearing systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee site investigations and soil testing, interpreting geotechnical reports to inform structural solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants to align technical specifications with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare and review construction drawings, BOQs, and technical reports for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to designs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Liaise with local government agencies (e.g., DPUPR Bali) to secure permits and approvals for project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a portfolio of completed projects in SE Asia or tropical climates.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Revit Structure) and BIM tools.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design, as well as seismic and wind load considerations for tropical regions.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian construction regulations (SNI) and international standards (ACI, AISC, Eurocode).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and travel to project sites across the island as needed.
