Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive material qualification and evaluation to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Design, execute, and analyze testing protocols for raw materials and finished products to verify performance, durability, and safety.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to optimize material selection and application.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test reports, material specifications, and compliance records.
- Provide data-analytic support to identify trends, root causes of material failures, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Monitor and assess supplier material performance, ensuring consistency and reliability in the supply chain.
- Support the implementation of new materials and technologies to enhance product innovation and cost efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry advancements in materials science and recommend best practices for adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material testing, qualification, or a similar role within manufacturing or R&D environments.
- Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods (e.g., tensile, thermal, chemical analysis), and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or statistical software) and technical reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
