Responsibility
- Develop and review civil and structural designs, including drawings, calculations, and specifications in compliance with Eurocode, BCA standards, and local Indonesian regulations.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability and recommend optimal solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of structural elements into overall project plans.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and cost estimates for management and clients.
- Oversee construction phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software to enhance design accuracy and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose mitigation strategies to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and sustainable construction practices to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on design and site coordination.
- Proficiency in Eurocode, BCA standards, and familiarity with Indonesian construction codes (e.g., SNI).
- Strong expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent project management and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Proven ability to interpret geotechnical reports and conduct load calculations for various structures.
- Knowledge of seismic design principles (advantageous for projects in high-risk zones).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
