Responsibility
- Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify design feasibility and address on-site challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Review and approve project documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance certificates.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil and structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil and structural design, with a focus on consultancy projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and international engineering standards.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and teams.
- Professional engineering certification or licensure (e.g., P.Eng, CEng, or equivalent) is a plus.
