Responsibility
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
- Oversee site inspections, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to mitigate project delays or cost overruns.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to align project objectives with stakeholder expectations.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on all construction sites.
- Leverage Mandarin language skills to facilitate communication with Chinese stakeholders, suppliers, and parent company representatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and local teams, fostering knowledge transfer and capacity building.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, buildings, or utilities).
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is required for cross-team collaboration.
- Strong proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM) and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).
- In-depth knowledge of international construction codes (e.g., ACI, AISC) and Indonesian regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and travel to project sites as needed.
