Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and public infrastructure.
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project decisions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, blueprints, and project documentation.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure or development projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software.
