Responsibility
- Lead the civil design process for new food processing facilities and infrastructure upgrades
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects
- Ensure all designs comply with Indonesian building codes, international food safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate civil designs with overall facility plans
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies for new project locations
- Prepare and present technical reports to management and stakeholders
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
- Implement sustainable design practices to minimize environmental impact
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil design engineering, preferably in food processing or industrial facilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes and international standards (ISO, HACCP, etc.)
- Experience with sustainable design practices and green building principles
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal)
