Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Identify and pursue high-value business opportunities with importers, exporters, and multinational corporations.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients and partners to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present customized logistics solutions tailored to client needs, including air, sea, and land freight.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including shipping lines, airlines, and customs authorities.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and revenue targets to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
- Existing network of contacts in the logistics, shipping, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and logistics management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CILT, FIATA) are advantageous.
