Are you a technical expert with a passion for sales and business growth? Rotarex Fareast Pte Ltd is seeking a high-caliber Senior / Business Development Engineer to specialize in our Ultra-High Purity (UHP) division. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex engineering solutions and market expansion, driving the adoption of our industry-leading gas control products across the East Region.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the semiconductor and high-tech sectors, and providing technical consultancy to ensure our solutions meet the stringent requirements of UHP applications. Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the UHP market share within the assigned territory.
- Provide expert technical pre-sales support, including system design consultation and product selection.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, contractors, and engineering firms.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients and engineering stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure technical specifications align with customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory shifts in the UHP gas delivery sector.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in business development or technical sales within the gas equipment or semiconductor industry.
- Deep understanding of Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gas delivery systems, valves, and regulators.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a focus on building professional partnerships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to travel within the region as required to support business development initiatives.
