Responsibility
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for mainframe-based systems, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend scalable solutions within mainframe environments.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing legacy systems and modern technologies, proposing migration or integration strategies.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and workflow diagrams to guide development teams.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate clients and internal teams on mainframe capabilities and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, translating technical constraints into business-friendly recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends in mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, DB2, CICS) and emerging tools to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years focused on mainframe systems.
- Proven expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or mainframe-specific credentials are a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Willingness to relocate or work remotely from Bali, with occasional travel as needed.
