Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for regulatory compliance and data privacy? PERSOL is partnering with a leading Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) firm to seek a high-caliber Senior Business Analyst to lead critical Privacy Local Addendum analysis and transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will sit at the intersection of technology, data governance, and banking operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the bank's adherence to stringent data privacy regulations while driving the implementation of transformation projects that optimize data workflows. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the regulatory posture of a top-tier financial institution within the CIB division.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical prowess, a deep understanding of banking architecture, and the ability to bridge communication gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibility
- Lead the detailed analysis and documentation of Privacy Local Addendum requirements for CIB business lines.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to map data flows, identify gaps, and propose robust remediation solutions.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure technical implementation aligns with regulatory data privacy mandates.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications (FSD) for privacy-driven system enhancements.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from impact assessment and UAT coordination to post-implementation review.
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adjust business processes to maintain compliance.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and project steering committees regarding transformation milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Business Analysis, ideally within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB).
- Proven track record of managing data privacy, GDPR, or similar regulatory compliance projects.
- Strong proficiency in data mapping, process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), and SQL.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
- Deep understanding of the banking regulatory landscape and data protection frameworks in the APAC region.
