Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and system performance.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and facility staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building engineering, facility management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as building automation systems.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Certifications in LEED, CFM, or other relevant industry credentials are a plus.
