Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets in alignment with organizational goals and government regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and present budget reports, variance analyses, and financial recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with department heads to gather budget requests and allocate resources effectively.
- Oversee administrative operations, including procurement, contract management, and record-keeping.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose efficiency improvements.
- Train and mentor junior staff on budgeting processes and financial best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in budget management, financial planning, or administrative roles, preferably in the public sector.
- Proven expertise in budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of government financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and data visualization tools.
