Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of advanced biomedical equipment in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Conduct Electrical Safety Testing (EST) to ensure compliance with international safety standards and local regulations.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to healthcare professionals, troubleshooting equipment issues efficiently.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for medical staff on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install, configure, and upgrade medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and documentation for all biomedical equipment under your care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in biomedical technology and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and participate in audits to maintain high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in biomedical equipment maintenance, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of medical imaging systems, patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
- Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 62353, and local healthcare regulations.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
