Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive medical equipment plans for new healthcare facilities, expansions, or renovations in Bali.
- Collaborate with architects, clinicians, and procurement teams to ensure equipment selections meet clinical, technical, and financial requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify optimal medical technology solutions for diverse healthcare settings.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of biomedical equipment, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE).
- Provide technical expertise in the integration of medical devices with hospital IT systems (e.g., EHR, PACS).
- Manage stakeholder communications, including presentations to hospital leadership, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor budget adherence and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or patient safety.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in medical technology and recommend innovations to enhance healthcare service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CBET, CCE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical equipment planning, healthcare facility design, or biomedical engineering.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale healthcare projects, from planning to implementation.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g., FDA 510(k), CE Marking, Indonesian BKPM standards).
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills for proposals, reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Proficiency in CAD software, equipment planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with minimal supervision.
