Responsibility
- Develop and maintain intelligent 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using industry-leading software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure models align with design intent, construction requirements, and client specifications.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and mitigate conflicts between disciplines, reducing on-site errors and rework.
- Generate accurate construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules, directly from BIM models.
- Support project teams in leveraging BIM data for cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and project scheduling (4D/5D BIM).
- Ensure model integrity and compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and local regulations.
- Provide training and technical support to junior team members and stakeholders on BIM workflows and software tools.
- Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, trends, and industry advancements to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a BIM Modeller, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex 3D models and BIM projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley Systems, with advanced skills in model creation and management.
- Experience with clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri) and BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Trimble Connect).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650, Singapore BIM Guide).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM Manager) are a plus.
