Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end development of high-value RFP/RFI responses, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Cognizantâs value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, delivery, legal) to gather inputs and create cohesive, competitive proposals.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify differentiators and tailor proposals for maximum impact.
- Design and maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and best practices to streamline bid processes.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to integrate technical, commercial, and operational details into persuasive narratives.
- Manage proposal timelines, deadlines, and compliance checks to ensure on-time, error-free submissions.
- Present proposal strategies and recommendations to senior leadership and clients during bid defenses.
- Track win/loss metrics and post-submission feedback to refine future bidding strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related fields (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in bid/proposal management, preferably in IT services, consulting, or outsourcing industries.
- Proven track record of winning large-scale bids (USD 1M+) with strong storytelling and data visualization skills.
- Expertise in RFP response tools (e.g., Qvidian, Loopio) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to tailor messaging for C-level audiences.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to develop pricing strategies and ROI justifications.
- Familiarity with IT service delivery models (e.g., Agile, DevOps, Cloud) and industry frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment with minimal supervision.
