Responsibility
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, aligning IT strategy with business objectives to drive digital transformation.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid systems.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, blockchain) to enhance Hilti’s competitive edge.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure architecture standards and best practices are followed.
- Define and enforce enterprise-wide data governance, security, and compliance policies (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and interoperability across global IT infrastructure.
- Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership to cross-functional project teams.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews and risk assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or IT strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in TOGAF, Zachman, or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API integration, and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, cybersecurity, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment is a plus.
