Responsibility
- Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with precision and artistry, adhering to Jigger & Pony’s exacting standards.
- Lead bar operations during shifts, including inventory management, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize cost efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior bartenders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professionalism.
- Develop and refine drink menus in collaboration with the management team, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors.
- Provide exceptional guest service, anticipating needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address feedback promptly, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging spirits to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Bartender, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant.
- Proven expertise in classic and contemporary mixology, including free-pouring, muddling, and garnishing techniques.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, with the ability to educate guests and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is highly desirable.
- Passion for hospitality, a guest-first mindset, and a commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 20kg), and perform repetitive motions.
