Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support digital banking products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of backend services through rigorous testing and monitoring.
- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies for high-performance applications.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the architectural decisions and long-term technical roadmap of the digital banking platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on financial or banking systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Strong experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
