Responsibility
- Design and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant AWS architectures (e.g., VPC, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront) tailored to client requirements.
- Lead cloud migration projects, assessing on-premise systems and developing strategies for seamless transition to AWS.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and security using AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Conduct security audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for mission-critical applications.
- Stay ahead of AWS service updates and emerging cloud trends, recommending new tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Architect or Cloud Engineer, with a focus on AWS.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate with proven expertise).
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (e.g., IAM, EKS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions) and multi-cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to design hybrid cloud solutions and integrate on-premise systems with AWS.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
