Responsibility
- Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud solutions, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, and S3, to support high-traffic applications.
- Third-Party Platform Integration: Lead the integration of external platforms (e.g., advertising, analytics, or SaaS tools) with Ørsted’s digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and reduce manual errors.
- Security & Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF) and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency, latency, and reliability using tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Trusted Advisor.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CodePipeline) to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Development) and mentor junior engineers on AWS best practices.
- Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Design and test backup, failover, and multi-region strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud/Platform Engineer, with at least 3 years specializing in AWS (Solutions Architect or DevOps certification preferred).
- Expertise in AWS services: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, and IAM.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation, and experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and serverless architectures.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Security Mindset: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and implement scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency and ability to collaborate with global teams in a remote setting.
