Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ development, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations for IT services and solutions.
- Manage high-value procurement initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Drive IT contract renewals, analyzing terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and mitigating risks.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement needs, align strategies, and deliver measurable business value.
- Implement data-driven sourcing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve procurement lifecycle management.
- Monitor market trends, benchmark pricing, and assess supplier performance to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, or CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management, with a focus on IT or technology-related categories.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex contracts and managing high-value procurement projects.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) and sourcing platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Deep understanding of procurement regulations, compliance, and risk management in a large organizational setting.
- Experience working in higher education, multinational corporations, or public sector environments is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
