Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop and optimize cloud-native applications and microservices architectures
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions
- Ensure cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance
- Collaborate with development teams to architect cloud solutions that meet business requirements
- Optimize cloud costs through resource management and architectural improvements
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing
- Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend adoption of new services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 3 years focused on AWS
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or DevOps Professional certification
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack)
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
