Responsibility
- Monitor and respond to IT alerts in real-time, ensuring rapid resolution of incidents to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on servers, networks, and IT systems to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement automated monitoring scripts to enhance system reliability.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions for compliance and future reference.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning to prevent potential failures.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new IT infrastructure components.
- Provide technical support to end-users and internal teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in IT maintenance, system administration, or managed services.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under shift-based schedules.
